The Great Blue Flag, as its known across most of south Louisiana is an iconic spring time flower. In late March and early April, many roadside ditches will be filled with these beautiful irises. This patch I found deep in a covered cypress and tupelo swamp with the thick canopy providing ample shade for the perennial flower.
Print Purchasing
I offer two different mediums for purchasing fine art prints. Prints on fine art photo paper come in a protected roll tube and will need to be framed upon arrival. If you would like a ready to hang print for your home, I offer prints on lumachrome acrylic mounts. These are known for their 3 dimensionality and vibrant colors. They come ready to hang with a mounting board and attachments. To order select your size and print medium and type the title of your print in the comment section when checking out. Please allow 2-4 weeks for print processing and arrival.
